For my magazine i wanted it to stand out from magazines such as Classic Rock so it would be a worthy contender in the market, so i decided it needed a completely different name, some short as opposed to the rather long title of 'Classic Rock', i chose the title 'Crüe', Derived from the name of one of the most well known Glam rock bands around, Mötley Crüe.

Initial Magazine Ideas
For my initial idea i looked for a gap in the market, and came up with the idea to do a Glam Rock magazine, although i was slightly worried that this magazine would not produce as much interest due to there not being many Glam Rock band nowadays to make significant profit so i decided to make more of a general 70's/80's rock magazine, much like classic rock but to lean more towards the Glam side of things so it still appeals to those looking for a Glam rock magazine but those who aren't too interested in Glam but would like to read about other Sub-Genre's of rock.
